Pressurized Plenums

A central fan in the air-handling unit (AHU) creates a modest positive static pressure in the plenums, which propels the air up via the diffusers to the lower pressure surrounds of the conditioned office space. If there isn't a plenum, air can be returned via high side-wall grilles.
