BASX Solutions is an industry leader in the manufacturing of high efficiency data center cooling solutions, cleanroom systems, custom HVAC systems and modular solutions. For the past 40 years, the BASX leadership team has been recognized as leaders in the development of industry-changing innovation and are widely recognized for changing the way fans are applied in modern air handling systems. Our team has a steadfast commitment to customer service and delivering on our promises while providing the highest quality products throughout the world.

Prior to the formation of BASX, co-founders Matt Tobolski (Tobolski Watkins Engineering) and Dave Benson (Huntair/Nortek) began collaborating in 2009 to provide mission critical projects throughout the west coast. With a common mindset about how business should be done, they founded BASX at the end of 2012. BASX acquired what is today its headquarters in Redmond, OR at the end of 2013 and renovations were completed later in 2014. Shortly after BASX received its first hyperscale data center cooling unit order and delivered hundreds of units in only 6 months. In 2016 BASX launched the industry leading state-of-the-art indirect, water free cooling system for the data center industry. INC Magazine acknowledged BASX as the fastest growing manufacturer in the US in 2017. In 2020 BASX Solutions broke ground on an additional 75,000 sf of manufacturing and a 15,000 sf two story main office complex. Construction of the warehouse project was completed in 2021 and the new office complex was completed in spring of 2022. The 200,000 sf BASX facility now employs over 525 employees and continues to be the fastest growing manufacturing facility in Central Oregon.

In 2021, BASX was acquired by AAON Inc., a publicly traded, large scale HVAC manufacturing company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma with facilities in Kansas City, Missouri and Longview, Texas. AAON has been in the HVAC industry for 35 years and acquired BASX for their custom HVAC product line. AAON is committed to the continued growth of BASX focusing on innovative, semi-custom and custom, energy efficient HVAC solutions for nonresidential applications.
