BASX Solutions Purchases 100,000 sq ft Facility in Redmond, OR
BASX Solutions is very excited to have just purchased a 100,000 sq ft facility in Redmond Oregon, many people refer to as the Old Wal-Mart building. BASX Solutions is a newly formed LLC that will be managed by David Benson and Matthew Tobolski. David Benson is leaving his manufacturing firm in Tualatin Oregon where he was President and founder of a 750 person manufacturing company. Matthew Tobolski, PE PHd, is a founding partner of Tobolski Watkins, a structural engineering firm based in San Diego as well as an office in Bend Oregon.
BASX Solutions will be a manufacture of a wide range of modular (containerized) products that will be serving areas such as:
- Modular Hospital units
- Modular Power Storage Units
- Modular Cooling solutions
- Structural Solutions
BASX solutions projects that there will be upward of 150 jobs created in this operation over the next two years. Benson is excited to have this opportunity to be working with Redmond and surrounding communities, Matthew Tobolski, as well as his three grown children Dan, Cambria, and Derek who will be working directly or in support of this operation.
In a meeting at the newly acquired building, Benson acknowledged the outstanding community support and leadership that help make this transaction possible. Specifically thanking Eric Sande, Redmond Chamber of Commerce, for his persistence over 16 years to make sure that the next business development undertaken by Benson and his team happens in Redmond Oregon.
